The 2012 Carmon, Campbell, Fontenot Family Reunion will be held in Detroit, MI on August 3-5, 2012. Registration is due by May 15, 2012. In order to keep accountability, there will be no on-site registration.
We have planned a very exciting, fun- filled and eventful reunion located directly in the heart of Downtown Detroit! There will be many activities, including a tour of one of the most modern and attractive African American Museums known in the world: The Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History.
ALSO, the City Of Detroit is located just across the river from Windsor, Canada. For those who would like to go to Canada (by bridge or tunnel) you must have a passport, or at least a copy of your birth certificate and a driver's license. Downtown Detroit also offers 3 theme casinos (MGM, MOTORCITY, & GREEKTOWN casinos), 3 pro-sport parks (Joe Louis Arena, Tiger Stadium, Ford Field of the Lions) and several River Walks around Hart Plaza (a center for world festivals). The city is fast pace with activities so please make your reservations early!
